The Huke washing station, owned by Testi Trading and operated by the Yonis family and their team, plays a pivotal role in producing this exceptional coffee. Our friend Jared at Hacea Coffee Source has been sourcing coffee from Faysel Yonis since 2015, a testament to the long-standing partnership and consistent quality of these beans. The Huke washing station processes cherries from over 600 smallholder growers in the Gotiti Kebele, Gedeb Woreda, Gedeo Zone. The coffee is meticulously washed: after depulping, it ferments for 36–48 hours, is soaked overnight in clean water, and then dried on raised beds under the sun.

Testi Trading’s commitment to community development is evident through their Project Direct initiatives. They have funded and constructed multiple primary schools and established the first-ever high school in Hamasho, a small town in Sidama, improving access to education for local children.

Sourced from altitudes of 1,950–2,150 meters above sea level, this coffee is grown by smallholder farmers cultivating indigenous heirloom varieties. Its premium Grade 1 status and washed processing method result in a vibrant, meticulously crafted cup.

Every bag begins with a fresh roast, never warehouse stock. We roast coffee in small batches and ship it shortly after, sealing in the vibrant aroma and flavor so it reaches you at its peak. From roast to doorstep, we make sure your coffee’s journey is as short and as fresh as possible.

We aim to process orders within 1–2 business days, though in some cases it may take up to 3–5 business days.

Most orders are then shipped via USPS Priority Mail or USPS First Class/Ground (Local Zones), with an estimated transit time of 1–3 business days from the shipment date. Other carriers may be used at our discretion.

Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number to follow your package every step of the way.
