San Diego Wave FC Announces Inaugural Community Golf Classic

San Diego Wave FC is excited to host its first-ever Wave FC Community Golf Classic, presented by Mostra Coffee, on Monday, August 26, 2024, at Lomas Santa Fe Country Club. This inaugural event will bring together players, sponsors, and the community to raise funds for local organizations like Humble Design, Chicano Federation, Ronald McDonald House, and YMCA, all of which make a meaningful impact in San Diego.

Mostra Coffee, a women and veteran-owned San Diego-based micro coffee business, is the title sponsor and will provide a premium coffee-tasting experience, along with activations at two of the course's holes. Additional sponsors include Los Cuernos Wine, known for its premium single-serve wines, and the Vassiliadis Family Foundation, committed to fostering hope and education in the community.

The day will start with a 10:00 a.m. check-in, followed by an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start. Throughout the day, participants will enjoy special experiences, including interactions with San Diego Wave players and sampling opportunities from local sponsors. The event will wrap up with a 4:00 p.m. closing ceremony, where winners will be celebrated with food, drinks, and awards for top performances on the course.
