Dried Mango, Sweet Cream, Darjeeling White Tea
Sourced from the high-altitude hills of the Konga Cooperative within the renowned Yirgacheffe region, this coffee is born from a network of 2,400 dedicated smallholder farmers—each committed to the utmost care and clarity in processing.
Grown at 1,900–2,300 meters above sea level, these heirloom varietals were originally selected from Ethiopia’s native forest and transplanted in small garden-plots, lending the beans a depth of heritage and complexity seldom matched. After hand-sorting to weed out unripe and overripe cherries, the coffee undergoes a careful wet process: pulped, fermented for 24–36 hours, washed, then dried slowly for one to two weeks on cloth drying beds — the traditional African method that preserves delicate nuance and clarity.
Every bag begins with a fresh roast, never warehouse stock. We roast coffee in small batches and ship it shortly after, sealing in the vibrant aroma and flavor so it reaches you at its peak. From roast to doorstep, we make sure your coffee’s journey is as short and as fresh as possible.
We aim to process orders within 1–2 business days, though in some cases it may take up to 3–5 business days.
Most orders are then shipped via USPS Priority Mail or USPS First Class/Ground (Local Zones), with an estimated transit time of 1–3 business days from the shipment date. Other carriers may be used at our discretion.
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a tracking number to follow your package every step of the way.

"Excellent coffee"
"A truly delightful cup of coffee -- the kind that has the power to put me at peace with the world for a moment or prompts a small prayer of gratitude. It is the cup that does not just enhance my focus for other experiences, but the kind of experience my focus returns to after a lingering thought. When I came into the Poway shop to browse the bags, I was met with the post Christmas and New Years limited selection, albeit, a full stocking of the Yirgacheffe Konga. Naturally, I assumed it was less popular for "a reason", which is why I picked it over the other bags dotting the shelf. I use a metal hario V60 for my daily brews and gave this one a go with a 20g/320g ratio with a medium fine grind (85 clicks on a K2 King grinder) at 207°F. I poured a double bloom (55g + 30g at 45s), and two subsequent equally weighted pours. I came out with a TDS of 1. 25 and an EXT of 17. 58%. The aroma was nuanced, and I could distinctly pick out the dried mango which had a hint of dried apricot as well. The first sip had more complex flavor profile and bright acidty that was ever so slightly on the sour side. On my second brew, I remembered to warm my V60 and gave the slurry a few light swirls on the drawdown. The result was even better than the first (With almost the same TSD/EXT). All this to say, I am so glad I picked up this bag this morning that I had to write a review. Note: I'm not paid or a bot. I just had some wonderful cups of coffee and I hope you do too."
"nice, smooth and not too acidic"
