Ethiopia Nano Challa Instant Coffee

Ethiopia Nano Challa is a new coffee for us! Don't get it confused with our Roaster of the Year winning coffee, Ethiopia Gera Genji Challa, but this coffee has many similar characteristics and comes from the same Gera town in Western Ethiopia. We were astounded by the complexity in the cup and the bright, juicy peach notes coming through. Jasmine was second to none and who doesn't love cookie dough, whether it's off the mixing spoon in grandma's kitchen or your coffee.

Nano Challa is one of the most famous mills in all of Western Ethiopia, producing some of the most dynamic and delicate micro-lots each season. Many of the farmers who contribute to Nano Challa are second or third-generation farmers in the area – the children of hardworking farming pioneers. Their parents and grandparents came here from more arid areas of the country years ago when the land around Genji Challa was still covered in untouched forest. The super high growing altitudes and exacting practices at the mill have brought consistently high quality coffee to buyers of this lot year over year.
